SDGs Interactive Event
METAWATER held an event to discuss METAWATER's initiatives and ideas for SDGs with ordinary business people and students.
The event featured a dialogue, providing a platform for President Nakamura to field a lot of questions and opinions from participants and remote participants.
There were some frank opinions regarding the current situation in West Africa and Sierra Leone, such as "it is difficult to set a goal of 'leaving no one behind'," but many discussions were held, which further motivated METAWATER to forge ahead with its activities for SDGs.
We plan to continue these initiatives and exchanges of views in the future.

SDGs interactive eventSDGs Dialog
In order to further promote SDGs, an exchange of opinions with people from different industries and university officials was held at Head Office under the title of "METAWATER SDGs Round Table" on themes such as METAWATER's initiatives on SDGs and expectations for water companies.
Participating companies commented that it “had provided a great platform for learning”, and that “it was important to tell the story of what value their companies could offer, and to properly convey the message about SDGs”.
We also received comments from a participant representing a university, such as, "We would like to introduce to students companies in which upper management themselves are working on the SDGs.”
We plan to continue this initiative in a different form in the future.
