In the area of water supply, we apply our unique technologies, such as a ceramic membrane filtration system and an ozone generation system, to our operations and thereby promote the development of technologies to deliver safe and tasty water to the market.
Ceramic membrane filtration system combined with super-powdered activated carbon
As a response aimed at removing offensive tastes and odors (mustiness, etc.) from water, which is one of the major complaints heard about water quality, we developed a system to supply safe and tasty water by further pulverizing conventional powdered, activated carbon to as to achieve significant enhancements in terms of odor-removing efficiency and, at the same, through the use of a ceramic membrane filter for separation.

AOP system
(Advanced Oxidation Process)
For sophisticated water treatment processes using ozone, we are working on the development of a contact tank combined with AOP as a next-generation technology to achieve stronger oxidation power and further energy saving. We are also trying to apply it to polluted raw water in particular. We are further attempting to deploy this technology to the processes intended for the reuse of wastewater.
- Depending on the dissolved O3 concentration at the outlet of the previous step, the O3 injection dose in the previous and later steps, as well as the H2O2 injection dose in the later step, are controlled.
