Receipt of Order from Chigasaki City for a Project Involving the Provision and Operation of a Treatment Facility for Bulky Refuse at Chigasaki City's Environment Business Center
The corporate group of which METAWATER Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Kenji Yamaguchi; Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; "METAWATER") serves as the representative company, has received an order from Chigasaki City for a project involving the provision and operation of a treatment facility for bulky refuse at Chigasaki City's Environment Business Center.
This project involves the provision of a new facility required as a result of the deterioration of a bulky refuse treatment facility owned by Chigasaki City. The project entails the provision of a bulky refuse facility (with a capacity of 27 t/5 h) and the operation of that facility for a period of 20 years. The project is to be undertaken via the Design, Build and Operate Method*.
METAWATER is looking to continue efforts aimed at addressing the broad needs of society by leveraging the expertise which it has cultivated when it comes to the construction, operation, maintenance, and inspection of water and sewage works and refuse treatment facilities. In doing so, METAWATER will be contributing to the building of a recycling-oriented society.
*Design, Build and Operate Method: A method wherein an order is issued for a full package which encompasses the Design, Building and Operation phases of a facility.
