Receipt of Order from Ibaraki for "(Obligation) Southern Ibaraki rehabilitation Prefecture unit No. 03-30-003-6-002 Ozone catalytic tank machinery construction"
The advanced oxidation process (AOP) system installed in this construction work will be a treatment technology that combines ozone treatment and hydrogen peroxide, as a new solution for the mold smell of the drinking water source. This will be the first application to water treatment in Japan. The appropriate control of the ozone and hydrogen peroxide introduction will realize the decomposition of the high concentration mold smell, an improvement to the treatment efficiency in the low water temperature season, the suppression of the byproduct bromic acid generation, and a reduction of the burden on the activated carbon in later stage processing.
