Ceremony to Celebrate the Completion of the New Water Treatment Plant for the Aoki Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project in Mitsuke City
METAWATER Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director: Yasushi Nakamura, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) was commissioned to build a new water treatment plant for the Aoki Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project in Mitsuke City, Niigata Prefecture, and a ceremony was held on April 1 to commemorate the project's completion. The ceremony was attended by Tokio Kusumi, Mayor of Mitsuke City, Shinji Takami, Deputy Mayor of Nagaoka City, Yasushi Nakamura, President and Representative Director of Metawater, and Masahiro Takagi, Executive Officer and Executive General Manager, Sales & Marketing Division, and about 40 others.
This project involved the complete rehabilitation of the Aoki Water Treatment Plant, the main water treatment plant in Mitsuke City, and the operation and maintenance of the plant after its completion. The new plant was equipped with our Ceramic Membrane Filtration System and Super Powdered Activated Carbon (SPAC).
The operation and maintenance management of the new water treatment plant will be carried out by Mitsuke Water Frontier, a special purpose company headed by our company.
We will support the stable supply of high quality water using our extensive business experience in the PFI*1 and DBO*2 methods, and contribute to the operation of the water supply business based on the policy concepts of "Healthy City Building" and "Smart Wellness Mitsuke" set forth by Mitsuke City.
