Establishment of METAWATER Research Institute Co.,Ltd.
Securing human resources capable of resolving advanced issues
METAWATER Co.,Ltd. (President: Yasushi Nakamura, Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku; hereinafter "METAWATER") is pleased to announce the establishment of METAWATER Research Institute Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter "METAWATER Research Institute") effective July 1,2019. The establishment is aimed at securing human resources capable of resolving advanced issues to ensure sustainable growth of the METAWATER Group.
Realizing the Group's mid- to long-term strategies requires expertise beyond water treatment and waste recycling.
It requires cutting-edge expertise, such as that in environmental issues, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and robotics. In line with the full-scale launch of public-private partnerships, new expertise such as that in agreements and finance will be needed in addition to expertise in the natural science field.
METAWATER's existing organizational structure and personnel system have not always been able to treat experts with such extensive expertise in a way that satisfies their expectations. The establishment of METAWATER Research Institute is intended to flexibly respond to the situation through such measures as applying special treatment suited to each expert.
METAWATER Research Institute will create a special compensation system aimed at bringing in talented human resources beyond the Group's compensation system and centralize former employees with high expertise to create new values from a professional perspective in cooperation with these experts.
