Receipt of Order for Ozone Generation System at Qingyuan Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 2 in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China
METAWATER Co., Ltd. (President: Yasushi Nakamura; Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "METAWATER") is pleased to announce that it has received an order for an oxygen-fed high-concentration ozone generation system for installation at the Qingyuan Wastewater Treatment Plant No.2 in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China.
Water shortages have become an issue in many areas of China. At the same time, water pollution has deteriorated due to the effects of industrialization and urbanization. METAWATER entered the large-scale ozone water treatment market in China on a full-scale basis in 2008, and has a track record of delivering oxygen-fed high-concentration ozone generation systems to the Zhongqiao Water Treatment Plant, Xuelang Water Treatment Plant,
and Xicheng Water Treatment Plant in Jiangsu Province. In the area of wastewater treatment, delivery has been made to the Northern Chengshi Wastewater Treatment Plant in Fujian Province.
METAWATER will contribute to improving the world's water environment and accelerate expansion of its overseas business using its technologies developed in Japan, including the ozone generation system as well as a ceramic membrane filtration system.
